Sheena -> Mary-Sue

Funny you should mention this, because it reminds me of a conversation we had today in school. This is how it went:

Sheena: Do you think that the way we dress is an instruction of how we want our boyfriends/girlfriends to dress? I mean, I would love a guy with purple tights and a short black dress (note the sarcasm).
Mary-Sue: Well, I don't care what I look like
Sheena: That's it isn't it? That means that you want someone who doesn't care what they look like.
Mary-Sue: No, I just wouldn't care what they looked like.
Sheena: That is what I am saying.
Mary-Sue: No.

Then it continued with me just saying stuff and Mary-Sue not paying attention.

I still think I had a point though.

My point was, I do not care in the least what I look like. I will not dress a specific way so that others can have more pleasure looking at me. As long as my clothes are comfortable and do not make me feel ugly (which they don't), I wear them. End of story.
Thus, I wouldn't care what my boyfriend wore either. He can run around in a catsuit for all I care. I just do not give clothes any importance at all, since it's the person underneath them that matters, really.

Yes I understand. Although I suppose I would prefer an eccentric-type boyfriend who likes to wear colourful tights or whatever.
